Publishing books with a
Buried Legacy

More than 200 years ago, Robert Morrison had a dream to get the Bible into the most populated nation on earth, but that dream seemed unattainable. Anyone caught printing or distributing a Bible in the Chinese language could be executed.

But Robert Morrison dared to do it anyway.

Used by missionaries in China and India, this folktale is more than just an adventurous story. Author Mark Guy Pearse believed that tracts generally are of all things the most unattractive – the powder and shot must go together and therefore the moral must lie in the story.
